People of West-Bengal and out side of the state visit Santiniketan to celebrate the annual birth anniversary of the Nobel laureate, Rabindranath Tagore. This festival brings a wonderful experience in the heat of summer. The unique forest environment of cultural programs creates a beautiful view. Various schools, colleges & universities of Bengal, and also celebrated this day.

         Rabindranath Tagore  is Well known for  "profoundly sensitive, fresh and beautiful verse" of Gitanjali,
Tagore modernized Bengali art by  classical forms and resisting linguistic strictures. His novels, stories, songs, dance-dramas, and essays are Great creations forever.

Kavi Guru Ravindranath's Short stories, and novels were acclaimed for their lyricism, colloquialism, naturalism, and unnatural contemplation. Kavi Guru Ravindranath composed national anthems of two nations. Those were India's Jana Gana Mana and Bangladesh's Amar Shonar Bangla. The Sri Lankan national anthem was inspired by his awesome work.

    Kavi Guru Ravindranath was a prolific composer with around 2,230 songs to his credit. Kavi Guru Ravindranath's songs are known as Rabindrasangit .

  The Gitanjali is Tagore's best-known collection of poetry series.
Kavi Guru Ravindranath was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1913Kavi Guru Ravindranath's was the first non-European to receive a Nobel Prize in Literature.
